The answer is yes, but it depends…on how you intend to use the property and where you invest.

If you are willing to put in the effort there are plenty of opportunities to invest in property overseas with good rental income and capital growth. But you have to do your homework, complications of the property being in another country, working in another language, tax implications etc. This is generally what puts people off.

And you have the added benefit of a holiday home you can use for yourself
