In need of good agent and lawyer for Bulgaria

We are looking to buy a property in the coastal resorts of Nessebar, Sunny Beach, Sveti Vlas or around that general area. We are looking for a holiday home, with a view to using the property in our retirement at some point in the future.

Can anyone recommend a good real estate agent and lawyer?

Be careful with your choice of an Estate Agent. Bulgarian Agencies are very kind when it comes to take you as a client, and take your money, but be careful what kind of a Broker Contract they offer to you to sign. There are plenty of pitfalls and wording tricks are likely to be hidden in the text.  Pay attention what price they insert into the Contract and the conditions on which they would withhold their commission! One of my clients had a very bad experience with Bulgarian Agency called Bulgarian Properties; you will not find any legal support from their lawyer, Bilyana Petkova. She will not attend to the Notary, or give you any good legal advice on the purchase. You would be left on your own to deal with all the details of the transaction, or there would be a sub-contactor, some Agent-commissioner, who might put his best endeavor to help you. Nightmare!
