Hi Jolene,
The total cost of ownership and taxes payable when purchasing an existing property is between 7% and 10% of the purchase price.
Remember to add real estate agency fees on top. That’s another 4% – 5%. Although, I’ve heard of some agents charging more.
I’m very jealous of you, Pay del la Loire is a fantastic place to buy a place.
