      I’m looking at investing in overseas property. A friend suggested Greece.

      Anyone had any experience of investing in Greek property?

        Although, I was unlucky enough to invest in the 2008, seeing my property go down in value. Right now, if I had the money I would invest in Greece, according to the industry data property prices are on the rise from historic lows (35% below). So you will see capital apprecation sooner rather than later!

        They have tighened up things and if you make sure you get a good independent lawyer there won’t be any nasty surprises and whole process will be hassle-free.
